0. Knew: I was familiar with many of the mathematical models introduced in the text, from compartmental models to interactive pathways such as competition and allosterism.
1. Learned: That PK/PD modeling is much more complicated and advanced than I was previously aware, and that more complex, synergistic models are now being created in a sort of systems biology approach to PK/PD modeling.
2. Pressing ?: How can we account for the differences in PK/PD parameters between milli 1.0 and a full sized human?
3. Presentation: Physiological counter-regulatory mechanisms
4. Thoughts: This was a very thorough paper, I look forward to reading the text in entirety as opposed to skimming it. I like that the models and examples discussed were separated into mechanism based categories, it helped me understand the reasoning behind the math.

0. Knew: Basics of PK/PD modeling.
1. Learned: Fundamentals of mechanism based PK/PD modeling. These models characterize the causal mechanisms between the administration of a drug and its response.
2. Pressing?: Are there any specific characteristics of certain drugs that make them more effectively modeled by mechanism-based PDMD models?
3. Presentation: The role of homeostatic mechanisms in PK/PD.
4. Thoughts: It seems very natural to use mechanism based models. It is nice that with mechanism based modeling, organism-independent parameters can be found, which is useful for HoCs.
